ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership
The Centre is pleased to participate in the ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership at the University of Cambridge. A range of studentships are available across the social sciences at Cambridge; if you are interested in how society works and how it can handle global challenges, a DTP studentship will give you a world-class training programme, with access to leading international scholars both at Cambridge and other DTPs, and a wide community of fellow social scientists.
Students who tick 'Required Funding' on their Application Form and who comply with the 'fee status' and 'residency' requirements will automatically be considered to ESRC funding. Please see the links below for more details on the aforementioned criteria.
You can find out more about ESRC DTP studentships here: https://www.esrcdtp.group.cam.ac.uk/about and here https://www.esrcdtp.group.cam.ac.uk/prospectivestudents.
The Centre can only nominate 4 applicants, from both MPhil and PhD programmes. The applications received by the Centre are scored on academic merit, references and research potential. Those achieving the highest scores will be put forward and those students will be required to complete a form which will be sent to them by the PhD Administrator (admin@devstudies.cam.ac.uk).
Please do bear in mind that, should you be successful, this grant will require strict termly progress throughout the PhD programme, in order to demonstrate the student's continued eligibility to the funds.
