Michelle Jurkovich is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at UMass Boston. She will be presenting findings from her book, “Feeding the Hungry: Advocacy and Blame in the Global Fight Against Hunger” (Cornell University Press 2020).

Pia Raffler is an Assistant Professor of Government at Harvard University. She will be presenting recent research findings from a field experiment in Uganda, conducted with John Marshall (Columbia) and Jeremy Bowles (Stanford). Her talk is entitled “Social Media and Political Behavior: Experimental Evidence from an Electoral Autocracy.”
March 17th
Jason Hickel, Professor at the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, will be presenting on his recently published book, “Less is More: How Degrowth Will Save the World” (Penguin 2021).
