Welcome to this academic year’s edition of the Centre of Development Studies’ Annual Report.
There was an exciting influx of new academic staff members in 2021-2022, so read their profiles in this year’s annual report. The impressive list of publications by members of the teaching team continues to grow.
The MPhil course had the largest cohort yet, with 100 students enrolled and studying across a varied range of papers, and we congratulate everyone who graduated.
Our PhD students spent time away on fieldwork and shared with us some stunning pictures, including the cover shot by Tessa Laing, which won first prize in the POLIS PhD photography competition.
