Centre of Development Studies



Georges Quist is a PhD Candidate at the Centre of Development Studies, University of Cambridge, where he is the recipient of a Cambridge Trust International Scholarship. Previously, he was a Paul Alter, Sara Lamport Azrael, and Aldus H. Chapin Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
His research is supervised by Dr. Ha-Joon Chang and focuses on development banking in developing countries in general, the political economy of finance and development, and, most broadly, how the relationship between the financial sector and productive enterprises affects economic development.
